AuthWriter 2.1.4 is a complete overhaul of the experience users already know and love, delivering a more refined, capable, and modern writing environment from top to bottom. The Composition section has been significantly refreshed with the introduction of Editorial Assist, an intelligent manuscript-review feature that helps identify problem areas as you write. This release also adds deeper workflow tools including customization options, document statistics, word count goals, and sprint timers, giving writers greater visibility, control, and momentum during long-form drafting. Beyond Composition, the Character section has been refreshed, the Plotting section has been enhanced with a new trash bin system for instantly discarding and restoring older ideas, and the AI Research section has been redesigned with a more premium, polished interface.

Under the hood, AuthWriter 2.1.4 also introduces important infrastructure improvements that strengthen the flow between the database and the app for better account and subscription security. Signed-in users can now back up any or all projects directly to their device, making device switching and peace of mind far more seamless, with hassle-free project upload and download built into the experience. To make the transition into this new version smoother, onboarding tours have also been implemented for both new users and returning users exploring the latest release. The result is a more advanced, secure, and cohesive version of AuthWriter that feels both more powerful and more professional at every level.

AuthWriter v2.1.3 is a major quality update focused on making the app feel smoother, stronger, and more dependable for serious writing. A lot of work went into improving stability, tightening core flows, cleaning up rough edges, and making the overall experience feel more polished and trustworthy in everyday use.

Version 2.1.2 delivers a complete overhaul of AuthWriter's authentication, user management, and licensing systems — rebuilt from the ground up for reliability, security, and a far smoother user experience.

Version 2.1.1 focuses on reliability and account flow improvements with fixes across sign-in, trial backend behavior, and subscription/authentication edge cases.

This release improved PDF exporting, added DOCX export in Composition, refreshed UI consistency, fixed Research panel behavior, and improved Character Sheet export flow.
